Riley County plans to apply an asphalt overlay to RL 406 Marlatt Avenue near the County Shops. The overlay will begin at the entrance to the Shops and proceed south for 700 feet. The project will begin on Monday, August 6, 2012, and continue through Wednesday, August 8, 2012.

The road will be closed during the construction process, although the road will be opened at the end of each working day. Be advised that fresh asphalt oil will be applied – take alternate routes when possible. The schedule may change due to weather delays.
