The e-waste program began last September and is being run in conjunction with the household hazardous waste program. E-waste includes the following: computers, printers, copy machines, microwaves, phones, cell phones, fax machines, scanners, tape decks, televisions, typewriters, VCR and DVD’s. E-waste collected at the HHW facility goes to an electronics recycler which recycles over 95% of the waste. You may bring your e-waste to our facility located at 6245 Tuttle Creek Blvd. Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm or call 785-539-3202 with any questions.
