Voter Registration and Election Forms

You can NOW electronically complete a voter registration form IF you currently hold a valid Kansas Drivers License click link On-line voter registration form. All paper forms must be printed and then filled out completely before sending them to the Riley County Clerk's office.  Paper forms can be mailed or faxed to the Riley County Clerk's office.

Voter Registration Procedure

A person is not considered registered to vote until the Clerk's office has entered them in the computer system. Once we receive your voter registration card we will then mail you a disposition notice to show you, your polling place and voter information. We must have your original signature on our records. That is why it is very important to print out all forms and then mail or fax them back to us. If you have not received your notice of disposition within 2 weeks of registering to vote, please give the Riley County Clerk's office a call to verify that we received your voter registration card.
 

If an applicant is a first-time voter in the county, the applicant must provide valid identification. “First-time voter” includes any person who has never before voted in any official election in the county where registering, or who was previously registered but was canceled and has re-registered. Identification may be provided at the time of registration or any time thereafter, when voting, or during the period after voting a provisional ballot but before the county canvass.
