WIC provides a debit card with food benefits and other nutrition services to income-eligible pregnant, breastfeeding, postpartum women, infants, and children up to age five. Those who have lost jobs temporarily during the pandemic may now be eligible and we encourage you to apply. We are accepting new applicants.

Income Eligibility

WIC income eligibility guidelines (pdf) are:

  • $32,227 annually for a household of two
  • $40,626 annually for a household of three
  • $49,025 annually for a household of four
  • $57,424 annually for a household of five

Anyone wishing to apply for WIC may fill out the pre-qualification form below. After you submit the form, WIC staff will contact you at our earliest convenience.

Riley County WIC staff are serving all Riley County, Pottawatomie County, and Fort Riley clients remotely (by phone and email) out of our Manhattan and Fort Riley offices through August 2021. 

If clients have an upcoming appointment, we will contact them in advance. However, if clients or others have questions, please call us at the numbers indicated below.

Electronic Debit Cards

WIC has switched from checks to Electronic Benefit Cards!  All clients are now receiving debit cards instead of checks.
