WIC provides a debit card with food benefits and other nutrition services to income-eligible pregnant, breastfeeding, postpartum women, infants, and children up to age five. Those who have lost jobs temporarily during the pandemic may now be eligible and we encourage you to apply. We are accepting new applicants.

Income Eligibility

WIC income eligibility guidelines (pdf) are:

  • $33,874 annually for a household of two
  • $42,606 annually for a household of three
  • $51,338  annually for a household of four
  • $60,070 annually for a household of five

Anyone wishing to apply for WIC may fill out the form below. After you submit the form, WIC staff will contact you to review your eligibility and schedule an appointment.

RILEY COUNTY WIC COVID-19 INFO

Riley County WIC staff are serving all Riley County, Pottawatomie County, and Fort Riley clients remotely (by phone and email) out of our Manhattan and Fort Riley offices through August 2023.

If clients have an upcoming appointment, we will contact them in advance. However, if clients or others have questions, please call us at the numbers indicated below.

Electronic Debit Cards

WIC has switched from checks to Electronic Benefit Cards!  All clients are now receiving debit cards instead of checks.
