Riley County utilizes social media to educate and inform the public regarding services, current events, and emergency notifications when applicable. We believe social media helps improve the quality of life for residents and visitors by creating a direct method for communication with various Riley County departments. The public is welcome to share opinions and feedback on social media sites managed by the county.
Our sites are not monitored 24/7. Due to staffing limitations, not all direct messages, page tags, or questions posed on social media platforms can be answered; however, we will try to respond to as many as possible.
Riley County reserves the right, without notice, to delete posts or comments on Riley County social media pages containing: obscene material such as pornography, plagiarism of copyrighted material, defamation such as libel or slander, threats, advertisements or commercial messages, and any information promoting illegal discrimination or the commission of a crime.
