Scheduling of the fairground facilities are coordinated through the Riley County Extension Office. Events can be scheduled no more than one year in advance. Normal hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Rental fees will be based on the amount of time a facility is reserved for use. When making reservation remember to include time to setup and cleanup. The rental fee begins when the user starts using the facilities and ends when everything is cleaned up and removed. If setting up for an event the night before or leaving items in the building overnight, the rental time will continue until 11 p.m. and will start again at 7 a.m. on the following day.
A down payment of 20% of the rental fee will be required for the facilities to be reserved.
No alcoholic beverages will be allowed on the fair grounds or facilities. The grounds are located in CiCo Park which is jointly governed by Riley County, City of Manhattan, and U.S.D. 383, Manhattan.
Pottorf Hall rooms are rented by the hour. Other items within Pottorf Hall are charged a one time fee. The Barns outside are charged by the day. We have two different price scales: Non-Profit and Profit. For more information regarding renting the Fair Grounds contact Lynne Berry at the Riley County Extension Office, 785-537-6350 or email.
