Register of Deeds

The Register of Deeds office is required to:

  • Record all documents submitted by the public which are qualified to be recorded
  • Maintain an up-to-date and accurate set of indices which show the correct ownership of land in the entire county
  • Perform all functions of a clerical and technical nature to accomplish that objective

The Release of any Tax Lien must be by Cash or Cashiers checks only.

This service includes:

  • Access to all land records which includes images of land indexes and documents

  • Images of more than 1400 platted subdivisions
