(RILEY COUNTY, KS – April 10, 2020) There have been no additional positive cases in Riley County since yesterday’s update. Residents are continuing to practice social distancing, and the county’s score according to the unacast website, is a B+ today.

“It’s nice to have some good news to report,” said Local Health Officer Julie Gibbs. “Keep up the good work and keep fighting for the community. Your efforts are paying off.”

Riley County Statistics for Friday, April 10, 2020:

  • Total positive cases in Riley County Residents: 20
  • *Total Recovered: 5
  • Total Hospitalized: 0
  • Pending test results: 12
  • Negative test results: 130

*Note: Following CDC guidelines, patients are to remain in isolation through the duration of illness and are considered to be recovered after the following criteria have been met: At least three days (72 hours) since resolution of fever, without the use of fever-reducing medications and  Improvement of respiratory symptoms AND At least seven days have passed since symptoms first appeared
