Riley County Emergency Management has been in the process of updating the Hazard Mitigation Plan for the County. This is required every 5 years in order to receive money from FEMA following a disaster. The draft plan for our region (to include Riley County) is ready for a 7 day public review.

We invite you to review the plan. If you see something that needs to be changed, please email us prior to 7/13/2020, so we can review your comments and suggest changes if verified.
