[ARCHIVED] 8-12-20 Update: 115 Active Cases, 369 Recovered

(RILEY COUNTY, KS – August 12, 2020) Riley County has 6 new positive cases and 17 more recoveries since Monday’s report. The totals are now 115 active, 369 recovered, and 5 deaths. 8-12 update graphic

Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan is caring for 2 positive patients and zero PUI* patients at this time. Each of the patients have symptoms severe enough to require hospitalization. One of the positive patients is on a ventilator.

Riley County Statistics for Wednesday, August 12, 2020:

Total positive cases in Riley County Residents: 489

Total Active: 115

Total Recovered: 369

Total deaths: 5

Pending test results: 162

Negative test results: 5,009

Average age: 32.2 years old

Gender: Female: 48.3% (236), Male 51.7% (253)

Case counts are preliminary and subject to verification.

*A PUI is a Person Under Investigation; a patient who has symptoms of COVID-19 and is waiting for test results.
