[ARCHIVED] Brush Pile Burn at Solid Waste Facility


The Riley County Public Works Department will begin burning the brush pile located at the Solid Waste Facility, 1881 Henton Rd., Manhattan, Kansas today, Wednesday, December 30, 2020.

The initial burn will take approximately 2-3 days but it will be 1-2 weeks before the operation is completed.

Residents in the area may occasionally smell smoke during this time.
