RILEY COUNTY TREASURER - WE’RE REMODELING!

Starting April 3rd, the Riley County Treasurer’s Office will be temporarily relocated to the second floor of our current building at 110 Courthouse Plaza while the office gets new carpet and paint.

The good news is: we’re staying open during remodeling.

The bad news is: the temporary second floor space is much smaller and we won’t be able to see as many customers. Hours will be reduced to 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and wait times will increase for walk-in customers.

If you can wait and visit us when the office reopens after April 14, please do. You can also schedule appointments online, use online services, or visit the drop box in the lobby to reduce wait times.

What you need to know:

DATES of remodeling Riley County Treasurer’s Office: April 3-14

HOURS of operation during remodeling: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

The Treasurer’s Office

Services such as motor vehicle registration and title, paying taxes, licensing your vehicle will be available, but hours will be reduced and wait times for walk-in services will be longer. It’s a good idea to wait until we reopen after April 14 if possible.

You can still make appointments online. In fact, we recommend scheduling appointments if you plan to visit.

Temporary Location: second floor at 110 Courthouse Plaza – the room where advance voting takes place. Follow the signs. Elevator access is available.

Driver’s License Services

Driver’s License Services will not be affected by remodeling and will continue in the same location. Open 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. for regular services: renewing driver’s license and ID cards, changing out of state license to Kansas license, and address changes will be available.

As always, if you need a driver’s test, please visit the main DMV office at 8200 Southport Drive, Suite 105, Manhattan, KS 66502.  Ph: 785-537-2140

Thanks for your patience

We appreciate it!
