Presidential Preference Primary Election will be held March 19

In a Presidential Preference Primary Election, like the one being held in Kansas on March 19th, vote totals are used to allocate party delegates. Instead of holding a caucus, Kansans will simply cast their votes. 

The The last Kansas PPP was held in 1992, so it will be a new experience for many voters. 

The Democrat filed candidates are:

  • Dean Phillips
  • Jason Michael Palmer
  • Joseph R Biden Jr.
  • Marianne Williamson

The Republican filed candidates are:

  • Donald J. Trump
  • Nikki R. Haley
  • Ron DeSantis
  • Ryan L. Binkley
