Beginning Wednesday, July 18, the intersection of Charles Little way and Tecumseh Road will be closed for road construction. This closing is related to the Tecumseh/Quiveria Phase IIA stormsewer project. Local access to residences will be maintained throughout the project, but through traffic will be diverted to Claflin Avenue and College Heights Road.
The project is expected to last 8-12 weeks. Please drive slowly, obey all posted traffic control signs, and use caution around the work zones. Travelers are encouraged to avoid the area and seek alternative routes during construction. The City of Manhattan and Middlecreek Construction Incorporated appreciates your patience during this project.
Questions on the Tecumseh Quiveria Stormsewer Project should be directed to: Brian Johnson, P.E., Principal Engineer, City of Manhattan Public Works Department at 785-587-2455.
