This position will provide administrative/clerical assistance to the office under the direction and supervision of the Chief Court Services Probation Officer.
Duties consist of maintaining client files, utilizing Criminal Justice Information Systems, correspondence, statistical reporting, purchasing supplies, directing phone calls, receptionist duties and other work-related matters as needed. This position drafts forms and generates masters on the computer.
Must have the ability to work independently and work well with others. Computer knowledge and experience is necessary; prefer working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. Graduation from a high school; including or supplemented by courses in secretarial science and two years of experience in secretarial and general clerical work. Must successfully pass a criminal history background investigation within the first 30 days of employment.
