The Flint Hills Metropolitan Planning Organization (FHMPO) has released two Request for Proposals (RFPs) for the following two projects:
US-24 Bluetooth Project: The RFP is for the purchase of Bluetooth reader units and supporting equipment to be used along the East US-24 corridor in Manhattan and Pottawatomie County. More information on this can be found on the FHMPO's webpage, US-24 Bluetooth Study.
Multimodal Integration Plan: The FHMPO is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to assist the region in creating a more fully integrated multimodal transportation system. This project will include a route realignment study for Manhattan's fixed-route transit system, a regional bicycle and pedestrian master plan, and the identification of other opportunities to integrate all modes of transportation.
