Instructions to Bidders
It is the intent of Riley County to purchase herbicide as indicated in the Notice to Bidders (pdf). Pending acceptance by the Board of County Commissioners, billing statements shall be addressed to the Riley County Weed Department, 6245 Tuttle Creek Blvd., Manhattan, Kansas 66503.

All proposals must be submitted on the form provided in a sealed envelope plainly marked “Bid Proposal” and delivered to the office of County Clerk, 110 Courthouse Plaza, Manhattan, Kansas 66502. Bids received after the time specified in the Notice to Bidders will be returned unopened.
Exceptions to the specifications set forth in this set of documents must be indicated on the proposal form.
Bidders shall specify the estimated date of delivery.
Bidders shall show unit price, net amount, and total bid price less federal excise tax, city and state sales tax, F.O.B., Manhattan, Kansas.
Chemical labels documenting the active ingredients must be submitted with bid proposal or bid will be rejected.
General Requirements: The bidder agrees, if his proposal is accepted, to guarantee the design, material, and workmanship for 90 days and to replace free of charge, F.O.B., Manhattan, Kansas, any parts that fail to meet this guarantee.
