1. How do I make reservations for Keats Park?

Reservations can be made by calling the Riley County Park Division at (785) 539-2981.

2. Where do I pick up a key for Keats park?

The key can be picked up at 6215 Tuttle Creek Blvd. from 7:30am to 4:00 pm on the day before your scheduled activity. If you are using the facility on a weekend, you must pick up the key before 4:00 pm on Friday.

3. What are county park use regulations?

The following rules and regulations apply to all county parks: 

• No liquor or cereal malt beverages.
• No motorized vehicles or horses except in parking areas.
• No firearms or hunting.
• No tree cutting.
• No fires except in areas provided.

4. How much does it cost to rent the building and shelter at Keats Park?

We offer this facility at no charge. Users are asked to help with the following:

• Empty trash can inside building and remove all trash to dumpster at south end of parking area.
• Sweep and mop any spills.
• Lock doors when leaving.
• Return key to 6215 Tuttle Creek Blvd. on the next working day.

5. What parks and facilities are maintained by Riley County?

• Parks Maintained by the Park Division: CiCo Park, Wildcat Park, Keats Park, K177 Overlook Park, Rocky Ford Recreation Area, and Fairmont Park.
• Grounds Maintained Wholly or in Part by the Park Division: County Shops, Transfer Station, Genealogical Library, Courthouse Plaza, Pottorf Hall, Fairgrounds and Arena, and Health Department/Family and Child Resource Center.
• Community Parks that Receive County Assistance:  Riley City, Randolph City, Leonardville City, Leonardville Baseball Field, Ogden City, and University Park.

6. What items are available in the building at Keats Park?

Items available for use at Keats Park in the building are: tables (8), chairs (40), microwave, refrigerator, sinks, and restroom facilities.

7. What are the reservation policies for the ball diamond at Keats Park?

The ball diamond may be reserved as follows:

• Maximum of 1 1/2 hours per reservation can be scheduled with start times of 5:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. (weekend reservations are not restricted to these hours).
• Department personnel will drag the infield prior to games when possible. If further preparation is required, the team will be responsible.
• There is a charge for a minimum of 2 hours for lining at $15.00 per hour.

8. Can I reserve shelters at CiCo Park?

No. We do not reserve shelters or picnic tables at CiCo Park, they are on a first come, first serve basis.
